What is WATL?
The World Axe Throwing League is the global governing body of urban axe throwing. WATL was founded in 2017 by representatives from Canada, the United States of America, Brazil and Ireland. It has 19 axe throwing nations with membership. Members include over 130 member companies, and Smoky Mountain Axe House is proud to be one of them!
Our Leagues
Have fun and compete in our seasonal leagues. Each league lasts 8 weeks and a winner will be crowned at the end. Whether you're looking to reign as local champ, hone your axe throwing skills, or become the next professional axe thrower, joining one of our leagues is a great way to start!
Winter League 2020
Our Winter League starts January 12th with Bid Axe and Duels. Individual League starts Jan 15th, 2020. A League Champion will be announced after all matches have been completed over the 8 week period. You can follow the scores weekly on our Facebook/Instagram pages.
